Barbara Howard
Barbara's experience in writing and marketing is extensive. She specializes in natural health, LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability), the environment, marine wildlife, green, organic, natural skin care and spa. Barbara writes for national publications such as Total Health Magazine and SkinInc Magazine, Health Matters Magazine, newsletters as CMI Community News and Announcements, and major web portals such as Care2.com.
Barbara provides expert advice about marketing and communications. She is a specialist in multichannel integration and as an Independent Marketing Consultant she guides companies through what can seem like a never ending maze of information, technology and mixed messages. She advises, "It is important to communicate in a consistent, meaningful way and to seamlessly integrate all of your media to support your brand and your company's main objective. It is all about inspiring consumer/customer love and loyalty."
Barbara is also an accomplished musician, performer and composer. She has composed and performed musical themes for non-profits including The Gorilla Foundation with the song Help Koko (which she taught to school children and performed at fundraising concerts) and Take Back the Night Marches, and television productions including "The Healing Power of Herbs" featured on Public Television in the United States.
